Spanish Specialist Required: Outstanding Redbridge Secondary School (KS3-5)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and academically rigorous Teacher of Spanish to join our consistently Outstanding secondary school in Redbridge from September 2025. We are looking for a true specialist who can drive exceptional academic attainment and foster a deep, precise understanding of the Spanish language.
We are searching for an inspiring specialist who can deliver outstanding teaching and learning across all key stages, from establishing foundational grammar and vocabulary at KS3 to guiding students through the complexities of GCSE Spanish and advanced A-Level Spanish Literature and Translation. Our students are bright, highly motivated, and consistently achieve exceptional results, with many progressing to top universities to study languages. Our MFL department is well-established, boasts excellent resources, including access to authentic materials and digital language labs, and maintains a proven track record of strong academic outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing this standard of excellence.

Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering meticulously planned, grammatically precise, and intellectually stimulating Spanish lessons that promote deep linguistic understanding and analytical skills across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Rigorous assessment of student progress in all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), providing precise, data-informed feedback that drives rapid improvement and prepares students for examinations.
* Actively contributing to the development of our challenging and coherent Spanish curriculum, and leading or supporting extra-curricular activities such as debating societies or Spanish film clubs.
* Upholding the high academic standards of our Outstanding school in all aspects of teaching, assessment, and professional conduct, acting as a role model for both students and peers.
