Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, committed and dynamic Spanish teacher to work within our friendly and supportive team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and/or experienced teacher who is able to demonstrate a passion for the subject, have the ability to inspire students, show commitment to raising participation levels in extracurricular activities, and have an awareness of curriculum developments across key stage three and four
You willl need to:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Know when and how to differentiate the KS3 + KS4 Spanish Curriculum appropriately, using approaches which enable students to be taught effectively
* Have a secure knowledge of the Spanish curriculum areas, foster and maintain students’ interest in the subject, and address misunderstandings.
* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* As a Spanish teacher you will need to: take responsibility for improving your teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues.
