MFL Teacher role in: Birmingham
Starting date: November 2025
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 per day, DOE
Temporary Contract: Long-term cover
Full Time Vacancy: (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)Spanish Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher for a full-time position at a secondary school in the Birmingham area. The role is to start in November 2025 and is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be confident in classroom management, able to engage learners of all abilities, and demonstrate a clear understanding of the national curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages.
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
A strong subject knowledge and passion for languages
Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging MFL lessons
Confident classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can support you with this)
Must have a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
