Full-Time Spanish Teaching Assistant - January 2026
Native or Highly Fluent Spanish Speakers Required
A high-performing secondary school in Slough is recruiting a Spanish Teaching Assistant to join them from January 2026 until the end of the academic year (July 2026). You will support students in Years 7-10, ensuring they make strong progress in Spanish and contributing to the positive learning culture the school is known for in Slough.
The school requires candidates who are either native Spanish speakers or have expert-level fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
As part of the MFL team, you will play a key role in boosting pupil confidence, delivering tailored support, and contributing to an inspiring classroom environment. The school offers excellent behaviour, modern facilities, and a supportive staff team.
What We Need
Native Spanish speaker or full Spanish fluency
Motivation to support students of varying abilities
Ability to take direction from teachers and the SENCo
Interest in a future teaching career (desirable)
Main Responsibilities
Providing targeted support during Spanish lessons
Helping teachers with daily tasks and lesson preparation
Supporting students with special educational needs
Showing flexibility, strong communication skills, and reliability
