About the Role:
As a Spare Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers and service technicians in identifying and sourcing the right spare parts and accessories. Your mission will be to ensure smooth inventory management, accurate order processing, and outstanding customer service for both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in identifying required parts and accessories.
Interpret customer needs and provide advice on suitable parts, pricing, and availability.
Collaborate with Service Technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for service and repair jobs.
Accurately process customer orders, returns, and warranties using our systems.
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, participating in stock counts and audits.
Source and order special or out-of-stock parts from UK-based suppliers.
Deliver exceptional customer service and support the despatch team during peak periods.
Uphold company policies while providing high-quality service.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Experience in a parts, service, or warehouse environment (preferably in automotive, machinery, or industrial sectors).
Strong customer service attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle pressure effectively.
Familiarity with stock control systems and order processing software.
Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Additional Information:
Contract Type: Fixed 12 months - Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm; flexibility may be required)
Annual Salary: £27,000 - £28,000
Driving Required: Yes
Location: Peterborough
