Job Title: Special Education Needs Tutor
Location: West Drayton
Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only)
Salary: £31,000 - £34.500 per annum (D.O.E)
We're looking for a passionate and dependable tutor who can work well with young adults with special needs. Ideally, you'll have experience or a strong interest in supporting learners with special educational needs and be able to adapt your teaching style to suit each student. The role involves teaching small groups of mixed-ability learners."
The role:
Plan and teach lessons that meet national standards, while adapting to each student's needs to support their learning and overall growth.
Track student progress, keep their learning plans up to date, and take part in reviews to help maintain quality.
Work with staff, parents, and carers to manage behaviour, keep students safe, and provide consistent support
Job Requirements:
Experience working with young adults 16+ with special education needs.
Desirably a level 2 teaching or tutoring qualification.
Be patient, adaptable and passionate about young adult's development.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An understanding of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
