Role Summary
This school are seeking a dedicated SENCO to lead SEND provision three days per week. You will:
• Implement SEND policy and coordinate support for pupils, including EHCPs
• Maintain SEND records, provision maps, and register
• Advise staff on behaviour and inclusion strategies
• Liaise with families, external agencies, and senior leaders
• Oversee SEND budget and resource allocation
• Support EHCP annual reviews, transitions, and staff training
Your Profile
• Qualified Teacher Status and SENCO accreditation (e.g. NASENCO / NPQ-SEN)
• Proven experience in primary SEND coordination
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Experience working with multi-agency teams
