Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to support and educate students with a range of learning differences and/or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the specific needs outlined in students' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or equivalent provision.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with SEN.
Assess, monitor, and record the progress and attainment of SEN students.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or contribute to EHCP reviews.
Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents/carers, and external professionals (e.g., therapists, educational psychologists).
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students feel valued and can achieve their full potential.
Manage challenging behaviour effectively and promote positive social and emotional development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (e.g., Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Needs).
Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
