About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled SEND Teachers to work in a variety of specialist settings, including:
SEMH schools
ASD provisions
PRUs
Specialist learning centres within mainstream schoolsAssignments vary from day-to-day, short-term, to long-term roles, offering flexibility and a chance to build strong relationships within schools that match your teaching style and strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
Create inclusive learning environments that enable all pupils to thriveRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs
Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
