Role Overview As a Special Needs TA, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop independence in their educational journey.
Main Duties:
Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for students with special educational needs
Implementing tailored support strategies and differentiated learning approaches
Fostering pupils' confidence, independence, and academic progress
Working collaboratively with teachers, SEND coordinators, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective provision

Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (in schools, care settings, or community roles)
Patient, resilient, and positive attitude when managing challenging situations
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Nurturing, understanding, and structured approach to supporting learning differences
Valid DBS certificate on Update Service or willingness to complete enhanced DBS check
