SEN Teacher - Full Academic Year Contract
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Start Date: December 2025
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 year)
Salary: £168.8 - GBP261.78 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-respected SEN school in Barrow-in-Furness, who are seeking a talented teacher to join their team from December 2025 for a full academic year.
About the Role:
This rewarding position involves teaching and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. You will plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons designed to help every child achieve their full potential.
Teach small groups or 1:1 sessions tailored to students' individual learning plans
Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and SEN professionals
Contribute to the wider school community and celebrate every successAbout You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a specialist or alternative provision
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
Empathy, patience and the ability to adapt your teaching to meet individual needs
