A mental health hospital school in Bromley is looking for a qualified teacher with QTS to cover a maternity leave position starting in July, working within . This is a full-time role (5 days per week) based primarily in Beckenham, with occasional cover in Camberwell if required (though this is unlikely; candidates must be flexible). The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and experienced, with a strong presence and a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.You will be:
Teaching KS3 General Science (Chemistry focus) and PSHE
Providing additional support in English
Supporting 1:1 sessions on the ward (always with another staff member)
Able to offer additional subject areas (highly desirable)
