Job Title: Special Needs Teacher
Salary: £150 - £300 Per day (dependant on scale)

Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Develop individualised education plans for students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet their evolving needs
Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and social workers, to support students' holistic development
Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and social growth
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge of SEND codes of practise and relevant legislation
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Training in specific interventions for students with PMLD, SLD, and ASC
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting with students who have a range of special educational needs. The teacher may need to provide individual support and assistance to students, as well as collaborate with other professionals within the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
