Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Didsbury, Manchester 🌟
Salary: £85-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: As soon as possible

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our welcoming primary school in Didsbury, South Manchester.
About the Role
You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support children with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
Your role will involve:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support
Assisting in the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Supporting learning through creative and engaging activities
Encouraging independence and confidence in every child
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children with special educational needs (school-based or other relevant settings)
Is patient, empathetic, and positive in their approach
Can work well as part of a team and use their initiative
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
(Preferred) Holds a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
