Are you a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an experienced professional to join a supportive specialist setting in Sandwell, providing tailored support to students aged 11-16 with a range of mixed and undiagnosed needs.
In this full-time role, you will work closely with teaching staff and inclusion teams to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every student can thrive. You will be supporting learners who present with a variety of barriers to learning, requiring patience, flexibility, and a strong understanding of individualised approaches.
We are looking for someone who:
Has proven experience working within specialist SEND settings (essential)
Can build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Adapts well to varied and undiagnosed needs across the cohort
Is confident delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
Brings energy, empathy, and resilience to their daily practice
Is committed to helping students develop both academically and emotionally
