Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Romford Primary School – Term Time Only
Looking to recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child in reception working at a low level and Non Verbal. For the role someone with PECS / Makaton knowledge or experience would be beneficial.

To start as soon as possible - Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.15pm with a break
Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role & Qualification
* To work alongside the class Teacher in supporting the child with their learning.
* To work with the student 1-1 using a visual timetable.
* Good communication, organisational skills and nurturing.
* Experience/knowledge working with PECS and Makaton.
* Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
* An interest, motivation and passion for working with SEN children in a school environment.
* Qualified with a L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND qualification
