Location: Additional Needs Resource Base, Secondary School – Cardiff
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday, 08:15–15:15
Contract: 2-Year Placement
Daily Rate: From £90 per day

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful Additional Needs Resource Base within a welcoming secondary school in Cardiff. You will be working in small classes (maximum 12 pupils), supporting learners aged 11–16 with a wide range of complex needs, including:
Down Syndrome
Global Developmental Delay
ADHD
Non-verbal communication needs
And other associated learning differences

Your Responsibilities
Supporting pupils’ learning in a small, structured classroom environment
Assisting with personalised education plans and differentiated activities
Implementing strategies recommended by teachers and specialists
Supporting communication needs, sensory needs and emotional regulation
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
Helping create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
