The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, personalised learning activities.
Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs and independence skills.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Help create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with children or young people (SEND experience is desirable but not essential).
Patient, resilient and committed to helping every child succeed.
A great communicator who can work well within a team.
Calm, trustworthy and able to follow guidance from teaching staff and therapists.
