Job Description

Are you confident supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour?

Are you a patient and adaptable Special Needs Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils?

The schools provide supportive learning environments focused on helping pupils engage with their education and reach their full potential.

We are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who is open to day-to-day work or a long-term role. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and provide effective support both in and outside the classroom.

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Strong behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
A willingness to support pupils according to their individual needs
