Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Okehampton
Salary: £88.99 to £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
Collaborate with the teacher to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring each child reaches their potential.
Build strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
Assist with any personal or medical care needs, as required.
Requirements:
A compassionate, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
Experience with SEN students is an advantage, but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
A flexible and proactive attitude to meet the needs of students.
