Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
Assist the class teacher in implementing differentiated learning activities
Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies
Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
Contribute to progress reports, EHCP reviews, and pastoral care
Supervise and support students during non-classroom times (breaks, lunch, transitions)
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally with SEN)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Team Teach or other SEN training (desirable but not essential)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, psychology degree, youth work) are a plus but not required
