Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants - Full-Time | Mainstream Primary School | Islington 🌟 Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Islington seeking skilled support staff to join their dedicated team. 📍 Location: Islington 📅 Start Date: September 2025 📚 Key Stages: EYFS, KS1 & KS2 🕰️ Role Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, term-time only) The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning delays, and emotional or behavioural challenges. You will work both 1:1 and in small groups across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, assisting with classroom tasks, differentiating learning, and providing consistent emotional and academic support. We are looking for: Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a school or nursery setting. Strong understanding of inclusive strategies and behaviour support. A patient, calm, and nurturing approach to learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to making a positive difference in children's lives.Desirable: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Team Teach or similar de-escalation training.
