Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant – Barnsley
We’re supporting schools across Barnsley to find flexible, reliable educators ready to make an impact. Whether you're experienced or new to education, this could be a great opportunity to join local schools on a flexible basis.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2 or secondary (depending on the setting)
• Assisting with classroom learning, interventions, or behaviour support
• Working 1:1, in small groups, or with the whole class
• Building strong relationships with pupils and school staff
What we’re looking for:
• Relevant qualifications or school-based experience (depending on role)
• A caring, consistent, and proactive approach
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Pay: £85–£96 per day (based on 6.5 working hours where applicable)
