Special Needs Teaching Assistant needed in Salford with Step Teachers!
We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of successfully supporting children with additional needs.

This is a vacancy for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at an outstanding special needs school in Salford.
The basics:
* Role: Special Needs Teaching Assistant supporting pupils aged 9–19 with Autism & Complex Needs in a Salford special school.
* Start date: ASAP.
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
* Long-term with potential to become permanent.
* Pay: £95–110 per day DOE, paid via PAYE (no umbrella companies).
* Equal pay to permanent staff after 12 weeks.

How you’ll help:
* Deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, SLT, families and external professionals.
* Record and report behaviours, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
