SEN Teaching Assistant - Preston - Full time Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN) Location: Preston Contract Type: Full Time Daily Rate: GBP96.00 - GBP106.00 Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and making a real difference in their lives? Prospero Teaching are working with a range of specialist education settings in Preston that provide supportive and structured environments for children and young people with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and associated social, emotional, and mental health needs. These settings offer small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios, and dedicated multi-disciplinary teams who work collaboratively to deliver tailored support and a holistic curriculum. Their focus is not only on academic progress but also on developing essential life and social skills to help each student reach their full potential. About the Role: · Support students with a range of special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings · Assist with delivering tailored learning activities and promoting positive behaviour · Help students develop social skills, independence, and confidence · Work closely with teachers and therapists as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team · Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment · Support and manage challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies What Were Looking For: · Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships · A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach · Committed to inclusion and helping every child succeed To be eligible you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS registered with the Update Service Provide two professional child-related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
