Job Description

SEN Learning Support Assistant - Slough Location: Slough, London Start Date: Immediate / September Start Contract: Full-time, Long-term (term time only) Salary: £95.00 -110.00 per day (depending on experience) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people, supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions. Assist with the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Promote independence, confidence, and emotional well-being in pupils. Support with behaviour management and encourage positive engagement in learning.The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working with SEN students (school, childcare, or youth work experience considered). Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning needs. Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
