Specialist Account Handler – Media and Film Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Experience: Ideally Minimum 2 years in Commercial/SME Insurance About the Company We’re working with a proudly independent commercial insurance brokerage that has recently completed a management buyout and is entering an exciting new phase of growth. The Role This is a Specialist Account Handler opportunity within the Media and Film team, supporting a diverse and creative client base across production, events, and entertainment. You’ll be handling a portfolio of around £150,000 GWP, working closely with exciting names in the industry, from TV and film productions to event organisers, lighting and sound specialists, and media companies. It’s a unique chance to build a career in a fun, high-energy niche while still maintaining strong commercial roots. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of media and production clients Handle all aspects of renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations Provide expert advice on commercial and media-related risks Liaise with underwriters and clients to ensure smooth policy management Work collaboratively with Account Executives and the wider team to deliver exceptional serviceAbout You You’ll be an experienced Commercial or SME Account Handler with at least two years’ experience in broking or underwriting. You’ll have strong technical knowledge, confidence in managing client relationships, and a natural curiosity for the creative world.
