Job Title: Specialist Engineering in Power Networks Lecturer
Pay and working hours:
* Per hour/Salary: up to £43,000
* Working hours: 37
Role details:
* Full time role - 37 hours per week - 24 hours teaching and 13 hours prep, planning and administrative tasks
* Delivery up to HE Level in Power networks
* Focussing specifically on Engineering Power Networks based modules across the department to part-time, full-time and Higher Apprenticeship HE students.
* There is potential for delivering at other locations, so it may be necessary to work at employers’ premises in the UK for up to four weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided and travel expenses to and from the site each week will be paid. You will need a valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
Desired Experienced Required:
* An electrical engineering degree and extensive professional experience in power generation, networks, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, or
* An electrical engineering HNC or HND and extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with some supervisory experience, or
* An extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with extensive supervisory experience.
