We are currently recruiting experienced Specialist Oncology Nurses to support our healthcare clients across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality specialist care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care.
* Safely administer systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT), chemotherapy, and other oncology medications where competent.
* Monitor patients for treatment side effects and respond appropriately to complications.
* Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all professional standards and policies.
* Work collaboratively with consultants, pharmacists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (NMC Registered Adult Nurse).
* Previous experience working within an oncology setting.
* Competent in the administration of chemotherapy/SACT (where applicable).
* Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
* Up-to-date mandatory training.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
