Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Solihull (B90) Pay: £95-£105 per day Contract: Full-Time Start Date: After October Half Term 2025 Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? This is a highly respected setting dedicated to pupils with autism and complex communication needs. About the School: A nurturing environment for young people with autism who benefit from an alternative to mainstream education An individualised curriculum designed to meet each pupil's learning, communication, and personal development needs A supportive, experienced team that puts children at the heart of everything they do A focus on life-skills activities alongside academic learning to promote independence What You'll Be Doing: Delivering 1:1 and small group support within a High Dependency Unit Using structured strategies such as ABA and PECS to support learning and communication Working in partnership with teachers, therapists, and senior leaders to adapt learning plans Engaging in training and development to continually grow your skills Contributing positively to a collaborative and caring team environment The Ideal Candidate: Experience with SEN, ABA, or autism support is desirable but not essential Organised, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure A strong communicator who works well with pupils, staff, and families Passionate about helping neurodiverse learners develop confidence and independence Why Work with Long Term Futures?
