Job Description
We are working with a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke fire doors and timber joinery products, known for combining precision craftsmanship with industry-leading fire safety, sustainability credentials, and rapid lead times.
This newly created Specification Manager role is a key part of their growth strategy. You’ll take ownership of building and nurturing relationships with Architects & Designers, ensuring their products are specified on projects across London and the South East.
With £4.5M+ of specification work already part of the portfolio, daily inbound A&D enquiries, and a state-of-the-art showroom in London to host CPDs and client events, this is an opportunity to step into a role with real momentum and the backing of a key player in the industry
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of 20–30 architectural practices
Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and showroom events
Provide expert advice on fire door and joinery specifications (including L20)
Convert inbound specification enquiries into project wins
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain CRM records and manage active pipelines
Play a strategic role in shaping a future Specification Team
What We're Looking For:
Experience in Specification Sales, ideally with fire doors, joinery, or interior fit-out products
Strong understanding of the specification process and A&D route to market
Confident delivering CPDs and technical product presentations
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own diary
CRM experience preferred (HubSpot or similar)
Full UK Driving Licence
Package & Progression:
£60K to £70K base salary (DOE)
Bonus scheme linked to specification wins
