Speech and Language Therapist - SEN Unit
📍 Location: Hemel Hempstead
🕒 Full-Time | Term-Time

Are you a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our supportive team within a specialist SEN unit in Hemel Hempstead.
About the Role:
You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with a range of communication and language needs. Working closely with teachers, support staff, families, and external agencies, you'll deliver impactful therapy that empowers every learner to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver personalised therapy programmes
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Provide training and support to school staff and families
Contribute to EHCPs and reviews
Support pupils across a range of age groups and developmental stages
About You:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered)
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Commitment to inclusive education and positive outcomes for all pupils
Enthusiastic, reflective, and proactive in your practice
