Job Description

Speech and Language Therapist Location: Hybrid Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (qualifications and experience dependent) + £3,500 car allowance + mileage Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reports to: Head of Clinical Services We are recruiting on behalf of a growing care provider supporting both adults and children across the UK. They are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and are looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their expanding clinical team. This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with regular travel to various residential settings. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and delivery of communication-based interventions in line with the organisation's clinical model. You will work across both adult and children's services, requiring a dynamic and adaptable approach. The role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams, senior leadership, and external agencies to maintain the highest standards of care and drive positive outcomes. ✔️ Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate and identify barriers to communication ✔️ Collaboratively develop and implement individualised treatment plans ✔️ Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions based on clinical need ✔️ Engage therapeutically with adults and children to improve communication outcomes ✔️ Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support clinical delivery ✔️ Maintain accurate, evidence-based records and reports for all clinical interactions ✔️ Collaborate with education teams to support the learning and communication development of children in care What we're looking for: ✔️ A degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy ✔️ HCPC registration ✔️ Full UK driving licence (travel to multiple services is required) ✔️ Prior experience in adult and children's residential care settings ✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills ✔️ Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise tasks effectively ✔️ Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This is a 40-hour per week hybrid role working across children's and adults' residential homes, including secure children's homes.
