Job Description
Locum Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist
* Site: (Lewisham)
* Department: Speech and Language Therapy
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 12 weeks
* Days/Hours: Monday to Friday (4 days per week, flexible) – 29 hours
The role:
* You will independently manage a caseload of adult patients with communication and swallowing impairments across both acute and critical care wards.
Essential skills:
* Proven ability to work independently with adults presenting with communication and swallowing disorders.
* Experience across acute and critical care settings.
Desirable skills:
* Tracheostomy management
* Videofluoroscopy (VFS)
* Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)Before You Apply
