Sports Coach Required
Location: Warrington
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, ongoing (part time hours will be considered)
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Sports Coach to support pupils in a school environment. The position is full-time and available for a February start.
The ideal candidate for this Sports Coach role will have prior experience working with children and a background in sports or physical activities is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities of the Sports Coach:
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering sports sessions tailored to the needs of the pupils
* Encourage pupil participation and promote positive behaviour during sports and outdoor education
* Help with the setup, supervision, and safe use of sports equipment and outdoor spaces
* Support pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development through structured activities
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs
* Maintain records of pupil participation and progress in sports activities
* Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils during physical activities
Requirements for the Sports Coach:
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Recent experience working with children within the last two years is essential
* Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Ability to provide two professional references from recent roles working with children
* Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
