Start Date: ASAP / November 2025
Pay: £100 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and energetic Sports Coach looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with Autism (ASD)?
We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Lewisham that provides tailored education and support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated needs.
The school is seeking a motivated and empathetic coach who can inspire students through physical activity, helping them develop confidence, coordination, and social skills in a structured, nurturing environment.
Your Role:
Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions adapted to the needs of ASD learners.
Support pupils’ emotional and behavioural development through structure and positive reinforcement.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to promote physical wellbeing and teamwork.
Encourage participation, inclusion, and enjoyment in all physical activities.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people (experience with SEN/ASD is highly desirable).
A background in sports coaching, PE, or youth mentoring.
Patient, positive, and proactive approach.
