Secondary School in St Albans Long-term, Part-Time / Part-Time | Starting Date: 8th September
Pay: £90-£110
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach with a passion for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles in young learners? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dynamic Sports Coach to lead enrichment sessions and support PE delivery across the school from September 2025.

With a supportive staff team and a strong focus on enrichment and extracurricular opportunities, this is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys inspiring children through sport.
Job Description:
Deliver high-energy sports sessions and PE lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Plan and lead enrichment activities, including lunchtime and after-school clubs
Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive attitudes through sport
Support class teachers in delivering the PE curriculum and school sports events
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils
Be a positive role model who encourages participation and enjoyment in physical activity
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with primary-aged children in a sports or coaching capacity
Hold a relevant sports coaching qualification (desirable but not essential)
Be energetic, reliable, and passionate about youth development
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of different age groups and abilities
