Sports Coach & Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

🕒Timetable: Full-time (including form tutor responsibilities)
💷Rate of Pay: £95 - £135 per day (dependent on experience)
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a passionate and proactive Sports Coach & Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Autumn term.This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with a background in sports coaching and experience of supporting students in a classroom setting. You will play a key role in delivering engaging PE lessons, supporting learning across the curriculum, and contributing to the wider school community through form tutor responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and support high-quality PE and sports sessions across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assist in classroom-based learning across a range of subjects
Provide tailored support to students, including those with SEN
Foster a positive, inclusive, and active learning environment
Take on form tutor duties, supporting students' personal development and wellbeingRequirements:
Experience working with secondary-aged students in a coaching or teaching assistant capacity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to promoting physical activity and student engagement
Experience supporting students with additional needs is desirable
Relevant coaching qualifications or TA certification is an advantageWhat We Offer:
