We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Graduate to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Salford area as a Teaching Assistant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has completed their degree and is keen to build a career in education, youth work, or coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work with small groups or individual students to boost progress, behaviour, and confidence
Assist with the organisation and delivery of PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities
Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a focused classroom environment
Provide pastoral support and act as a positive role model to students across the school
The ideal candidate will:
Have completed a degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field
Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, during school hours
Be passionate about supporting young people in a school setting
Have a confident, proactive, and professional attitude
Be interested in pursuing a career in teaching, coaching, or youth work
