Senior Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Central London, SW1X
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 4 rostered days (08:00–18:00), with on-call duties every sixth week
Salary: £52,000 – £63,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy support and medicines optimisation for designated specialties.
* Develop, review, and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to enhance patient care.
* Supervise and mentor junior pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, safe, and effective care.
* Provide patient education and counselling to promote safe medicine use and adherence.
* Investigate and resolve medicine-related complaints or incidents, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled pharmacist with a strong background in hospital pharmacy and a commitment to excellence. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Essential: Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
* Essential: Postgraduate clinical diploma in hospital pharmacy or equivalent clinical experience.
* Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, with demonstrated competence in general clinical areas such as medicine and surgery.
* Skills: Strong communication and team collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
