Mobility Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + attractive overtime rates

REClifts is proud to represent one of the UK's fastest-growing independent stairlift companies. Due to continued expansion, we're looking for a Stairlift Engineer to join the warehouse team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in mechanical and electrical aspects of mobility equipment who prefers a fixed-location role over on-the-road work.

Stairlift Engineer - Warehouse Responsibilities:
Assemble and test both straight and curved stairlifts in a controlled warehouse environment
Carry out pre-installation inspections and functional testing
Refurbish, clean, and service returned stairlifts to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair faults on-site at the warehouse
Assist with preparing stairlifts and components for dispatch to installation teams
Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety procedures
Help manage stock levels of stairlift parts and equipment
Occasionally provide technical support to field engineers remotely
The Ideal Candidate for a Stairlift Engineer:
Essential: Minimum 2 years of experience working with stairlifts
Essential: Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Essential: Relevant electrical qualifications
Desirable: CSCS and/or SSSTS certification
Desirable: Knowledge of major stairlift manufacturers
Bonus: Experience in warehouse, workshop or assembly line environments
