REClifts is seeking a Stairlift Engineering Manager to lead the service operations, procurement, and supplier management for a growing stairlift division in Leeds. This role suits someone with a strong technical background in stairlifts who's ready to take ownership of service delivery, operations, and team leadership.
This is a pivotal position within the business, offering a defined career path to Service Director and the opportunity to shape the future direction of the stairlift division.
Commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield, Morley, Halifax, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Bingley, Barnsley, Dewsbury
Your Responsibilities as a Stairlift Engineering Manager:
Oversee procurement and stock management of stairlift components and parts
Manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient supply chain operations
Lead and coordinate day-to-day service and maintenance activities
Develop and maintain high standards of service delivery and operational processes
Support and manage a small team of engineers and office staff
Collaborate with senior leadership on business strategy and performance goals
Ensure health & safety and compliance procedures are followed
What We're Looking For in a Stairlift Engineering Manager:
Stairlift Service Manager, Electrical Engineering Manager, or similar background
Strong technical understanding of stairlift systems and components
Experience in procurement, operations, or service management - essential
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with suppliers and stakeholders
Proven leadership experience or natural aptitude for team management - essential
