JRS Associates have partnered up with an established precision engineering company in Rotherham to recruit a skilled Operative with experience in steel bar cutting and thread rolling.
This is a hands-on engineering role with clear progression available into a Section Lead / Chargehand position for the right person.
The Successful Steel Bar Cutter / Thread Roller – Package:

£17.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

39 hours per week – flexible day shifts
*
Overtime available
*
Genuine progression route into Section Lead / Chargehand

The Successful Steel Bar Cutter / Thread Roller – Requirements:

Experienced in cutting steel bars to specification
*
Skilled in thread rolling (manual or semi-automated machines)
*
Ability to read basic engineering drawings
*
Confident working independently and hitting daily production targets
*
Strong attention to detail and right-first-time approach
*
Good communication skills and willingness to help train/mentor others
*
Reliable, punctual, and committed to a long-term role with progression
