Job Description
Steel Erector – Bromborough, Wirral
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (some flexibility required)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term work)
We are looking for an experienced Steel Erector to join our team in Bromborough, working across a range of customer sites. The role involves the assembly and installation of steel frameworks and structural components, ensuring safe and accurate erection of steelwork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erecting steel structures on industrial and commercial sites
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
* Operating tools and equipment safely and efficiently
* Working at height using MEWPs, harnesses, or scaffolding where required
* Liaising with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
* Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Steel Erector
* Valid CSCS card (essential)
* IPAF and/or working at height training (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility with hours and willingness to work overtime if required
