Job Description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the energy and nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Steel Erector to join their team. This is a contract role offering a unique opportunity to work on significant projects within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Erecting and fitting steel structures on site
Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and project specifications
Collaborating with other trades and project personnel to ensure seamless project delivery
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Utilising technical drawings and plans to guide work
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
Completing all tasks within specified timelines
Job Requirements:
CCNSG (Client Contractor National Safety Group) certification
Experience as a Steel Erector or Fitter, preferably within the energy or nuclear sectors
NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting
Strong understanding of steel erection and fitting principles
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of health and safety
