Job Description
Permanent job opportunities for Steel erectors / Fabricators / Fitters with this busy, fast growing construction metalwork company. We have a number of roles based mostly at Stansted airport with excellent extra hours available and bonus's.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install metal frameworks for building structures.
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine necessary materials and installation processes.
- Safely use tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and joining metal components. (any welding experience will be a bonus.)
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
- Comply with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar role focusing on construction metal framework.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of metalworking tools and machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
Overtime offered at x 1.5.
