Job Title: Galvanizing Operative/Steel Production Operative
Location: South Kirkby
Recruiting on Behalf of: A Leading Galvanizing Company
Salary: £12.50 per hour (with scheduled pay increases at 6 and 12 months)
Hours: Rotating Shifts – 5:00am–1:00pm and 1:00pm–9:00pm (weekly rotation)
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
About the Role
Recruitment Pro is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing galvanizing business based in the WF9 area. We are seeking motivated and reliable candidates from a production or manufacturing background to join the team as Galvanizing Operatives/Steel Production Operatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop specialist skills within the galvanizing sector. Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
*
Performing hot dip galvanizing of steel and iron components.
*
Preparing materials by safely moving items on and off racking systems before and after galvanizing (note: this includes manual handling and is often done in teams of two).
*
Operating industrial machinery used throughout the galvanizing process.
*
Assisting with general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments is preferred.
*
A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks.
*
Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
