Job Description

Job Title :         Stock Condition Surveyor Location:         Swansea Contract:         Temporary - 3 Months Hourly Rate:    £23 - £30.08 an hour Hours:              Full Time   BRC are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join a busy housing provider on an initial 3-month temporary contract in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to support a programme of stock condition surveys, ensuring accurate property data is captured to inform future investment and maintenance programmes.   Responsibilities Carry out stock condition surveys across a portfolio of residential properties. Assess the condition of internal and external building components, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows, doors and communal areas. Identify defects, repair requirements and potential health and safety concerns. Record accurate survey data using handheld devices and asset management systems. Produce clear, detailed survey reports and recommendations. Liaise professionally with tenants and internal teams while arranging and undertaking property inspections. Support the delivery of accurate asset data to inform planned maintenance programmes.   Requirements Previous experience carrying out Stock Condition Surveys within social housing or residential property. Good knowledge of building construction, property defects and lifecycle replacement planning. Experience using mobile technology and asset management systems. Understanding of HHSRS and housing compliance requirements. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
