Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor (Temporary, 3–6 Months)
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £25 per hour + 45p per mile (business mileage)
Contract: Temporary (3–6 months)
About the Role
We are seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to support an Edinburgh housing association with a short-term project focused on cleansing and validating Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) data. This role involves carrying out mobile, on-site inspections across our housing stock (communal areas only – no tenant contact required) to ensure the accuracy of information within our Keystone asset management system.
Key Responsibilities

Visit properties across Edinburgh to inspect communal areas.

Verify, update, and cleanse SHQS data within the Keystone system.
*
Record and input accurate information following site visits.
*
Travel independently between sites using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
*
Ensure all tasks are completed in line with agreed timescales and data quality standards.
What We’re Looking For

Knowledge of SHQS standards (basic understanding sufficient).
*
Strong administrative and data entry skills with attention to detail.
*
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
*
Confidence in using IT systems for data recording.
*
Full driving licence and access to own car (essential).
