Job Description
Morgan Mckinley is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Stock Control/Delivery Driver for our client based in Crawley on a Part Time Basis.
This role involves ensuring efficient stock delivery, maintaining accurate records using technology, and fostering strong client relationships. If you enjoy driving, are physically fit, tech-savvy, and thrive in a hands-on role, this could be the opportunity for you.
Job Title: Stock Control/Delivery Driver
Location: Crawley Based , with routes to Luton, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth
Hours: Part-Time, 25 hours per week
Salary: £19,500 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver stock promptly to Crawley, Luton, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth.
Accurately record stock movements and maintain inventory logs.
Conduct stock checks, report discrepancies, and ensure accurate counts.
Load and unload goods safely, using proper manual handling techniques.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is roadworthy.
Build positive relationships with clients during deliveries.
Address customer queries and resolve minor issues on-site.
Use tablets/smartphones to input stock data into company apps.
Log delivery confirmations and inventory updates in real time.
Leverage technology for route planning, tracking, and communication.Requirements:
Hold a valid UK driving license.
Willing to undergo a DBS check or already possess one.
Previous experience in stock control or delivery roles is beneficial but not essential.
Demonstrate strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Physically able to lift and carry stock.
Confident and comfortable driving long distancesBefore You Apply
